Hi everyone! Sorry for the absence. To be honest, I began a new job (yeahhhh!) and it took me a lot of time to find my new rhythm. But absence means I have a lot in reserve to write and publish. And for this return, here is an article about a place I visited in August. It was sooo beautiful, just look at the pictures below, you won’t regret it!
About a month and a half ago, we had the chance to visit the Mayfield Lavender Farm in London. Situated at approximately 15 miles from Central London, you can visit this beautiful field from June to August every year.
It’s a very popular visitor attraction throughout summer where you can wander through a sea of beautiful organic lavender. The entry is £4 per person (parking is free when you pay your entry) and its open from 9am to 6pm everyday.
As you can see, dogs are allowed but they must be on a lead, of course. And Winston liked it a lot but, with this lavender perfume everywhere I cannot blame him!
You can also taste their Lavender cider or their lavender tea. I tried the herbal tea and it’s so yummy!
They have a cafe at their farm where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or snack. (Pssst! They have cocktails too! :D)
You can also find their shop where there are a lot of products (made with lavender, of course).
And if you are a plant lover, lavenders plants are available too.
Oh and you can have a tractor ride around the farm for £2 per person if you don’t want to walk! Pretty cool way to discover the field, isn’t it?
It was so peaceful and a great experience. We will surely return back next year!
